AQUA DINING SET
Water is the most common liquid we interact with every day and it plays a critical role in our lives. What renders it this versatile nature is its fluidity, a quality which is often overlooked. This fluidity yields itself in complex yet elegant looking flow patterns which served as an inspiration for this project. The goal of the project was to design a dining set that highlights the fluidity of water and immerses the user in a unique experience. The most challenging aspect of this project was being able to generate these organic forms in the CAD software. To capture the details of these forms various flow patterns occurring in nature were closely observed.
My contribution to this project was towards conceptualizing the different elements and creating CAD models of the tableware using SolidWorks which includes the fork, spoon, glass, plate, and the aroma diffuser.
